CONGRATULATIONS SOPHIE WELLS AND LEE PEARSON

Great Britain’s Paralympic Team touched down at Heathrow airport on Tuesday 20 September to a hero’s welcome. Aboard the flight were Multi medal winning Lee Pearson and Sophie Wells and the five strong British Para-Dressage athletes from Equestrian Team GBR after securing seven Gold Medals within their total medal haul of eleven.

Having won a total of 12 medals between them before the start of the games, Dodson & Horrell Brand Ambassadors Lee Pearson & Sophie Wells continued their impressive track record, bringing their combined total to an inspiring 17 Olympic medals.

Sophie Wells, winner of the Grade IV Individual Gold, Freestyle Silver and Team Gold spoke the emotional words after her competition; “I’m incredibly proud. You dream of this stuff happening and when it does happen it’s amazing”.

Lee Pearson added more medals to an already impressive collection with Grade IB Individual Silver and Freestyle Gold commented; “I love that horse, I just went for it. I’m so grateful for him, everyone who’s helped me since 1998 has helped me on my journey, my team at home and here. I have the best horse and the best team and it all came together.”
